Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and PintxoDome saw a crowd turnout of 37971. Pintxos were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. RODICAR saw most attack opportunities on the wings. The most controversial moment of the game was likely the penalty given after 10 minutes. RODICAR's A. Glam kept his concentration, despite the upset crowd, and calmly put the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 1. After 11 minutes of play, R. Brunner evened things up for Pintxos with an impressive goal coming up the middle. 1 - 1. RODICAR were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. RODICAR took the lead after 14 minutes making the score 1 - 2. L. Westrum placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. A. Glam could have added one to the visitors' lead if his free kick had gone just a little lower. It was 1 - 2 at the break. RODICAR enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

55 minutes into the match, Pintxos's J. Rudzenia maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 2 - 2. 58 minutes in, Pintxos's N. Pushkin received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Players in RODICAR heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. With 68 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. B. Kac put the ball away for 2 - 3. With the crowd on their feet chanting wildly, some great moves down the right hand side after 71 minutes gave Pintxos a wonderful opportunity to level the score, and G. Marrone stepped up to the challenge. 3 - 3 RODICAR took the lead 72 minutes into the game, making the score 3 - 4 after some elegant movement down the middle. B. Kac was the scorer. Possession in this half belonged to RODICAR, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

Pintxos's top performer was clearly N. Pushkin. L. Barreto turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important RODICAR player was F. Łysiak. However, K. Kaspersen made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 4.
