(393044675)

11-07-2012 15.05
The 534 fans in attendance at
Parc des Princes were roasting in the hot sun.
Michael Sandager was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Bjørn Berg-Hansen and
Dean King.
PSG05110 had chosen a strategic 4-5-1 formation.
Starters: Eckhoff - Esther, Blomqvist, Sanchez, Muwanga - Negrón, Kuklewski, Rasch, Moura Ribeiro, Nord - Ecvet.
FC TH LGV tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
They fielded: Bogey - Amourette, Jorge, Desveaux - Zidbeck, Engell, Lemal, Manzor, Gadet - Crête, Nigg.
The wings were the focus of most of PSG05110's attacks today.
It was an obvious ambition of FC TH LGV to use their ability at attacking on the flanks.
J. Kuklewski received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 32 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score.
PSG05110 made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left
L. Sanchez completely alone with keeper
D. Bogey, who made a spectacular block.
The cannonball from 35 metres by
A. Rasch of PSG05110 was an impressive sight, but didn't make it into the net.
38 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but
K. Engell, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide.
42 minutes into the match, the visiting FC TH LGV made the score 0 - 1 after
K. Engell executed a perfect free kick.
It was obvious that FC TH LGV had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle.
Had it not been for one of the home defenders,
K. Engell would have put FC TH LGV up another goal 44 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing.
PSG05110's
Y. Muwanga was shown a yellow card after 44 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
In a fantastic display of determination, FC TH LGV's
G. Gadet forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down.
0 - 1 was the score after the first half.
FC TH LGV had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.
The fierce heat made it important to save breath, and after a few swift runs
G. Gadet found it hard to get back into position.
After 50 minutes, PSG05110 switched
T. Blomqvist with
E. Jusuf, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch.
With the crowd on their feet chanting wildly, some great moves down the right hand side after 61 minutes gave PSG05110 a wonderful opportunity to level the score, and
M. Moura Ribeiro stepped up to the challenge. 1 - 1
65 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a PSG05110 substitution.
E. De Scheerder came on for
L. Sanchez.
After 70 minutes, the PSG05110 coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving
H. Ecvet off the field.
G. Ulloa took his place.
The referee showed PSG05110's
E. Jusuf the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
Due to a severely mistimed tackle,
G. Amourette of FC TH LGV spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game.
FC TH LGV's
A. Crête gave the visitors a 1 - 2 lead after 78 minutes with a superb strike from the right.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
E. De Scheerder from PSG05110 a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 83 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
After 84 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
N. Desveaux a chance to increase the lead for FC TH LGV, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 3.
When
E. De Scheerder made yet another studs-first tackle after 86 minutes, the referee was obliged to book the PSG05110 player for the second time, sending him off the pitch.
89 minutes in, FC TH LGV's
E. Jorge received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
With 89 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
E. Jorge of FC TH LGV to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 1 - 4.
FC TH LGV enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.
PSG05110's top performer was clearly
J. Kuklewski.
G. Eckhoff turned in a dismal performance, however.
FC TH LGV's best player was
C. Nigg.
D. Bogey on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 1 - 4.
