Clear skies welcomed the 53853 spectators who had made their way to Alexis FC Arena. Nicola Mastroianni was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Àlex Vinaixa and Harijs Zavodņickis. Fans of both teams had been eagerly awaiting this København derby and were doing their best to outshout their opponents. Alexis started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Down the middle came J. Puig, making a fantastic play that nearly had SOLRØD take the lead after 1 minutes, but S. Zurita preserved the tie. Alexis's S. Launay tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. SOLRØD had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 29 minutes in when C. Franzosi came up alone against S. Zurita who managed a block. S. Parisod was called on to replace Alexis's A. Vittoria after 30 minutes following a nasty collision. F. Tonga came close to putting the visiting team one up 37 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but S. Zurita managed to tip the ball to a corner. S. Parisod of Alexis received a yellow card after 39 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 0. SOLRØD claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

As the 46 minute mark approached, the SOLRØD coach decided it was time for a substitution. F. Simonin reluctantly made way for H. Cintron on the pitch. L. Dumitrescu was handed the SOLRØD captain's armband. After 60 minutes, L. Peszeni came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Alexis the lead. Under heavy pressure after 71 minutes, the inexperienced Alexis struggled to maintain their level of play. With 85 minutes played, the SOLRØD coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. E. Ustrup came on, M. Parum had to leave the fray. SOLRØD had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

Alexis's best player was P. Preširen. S. Parisod was a disappointment, however. Most important SOLRØD player was J. Puig. On the other hand, A. Valcárcel's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 0.
