Wollies had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. After 32 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed T. Witteveen to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 2. R. Mor-Yossef could have put his team up another goal 34 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. Attacking on the wings was the choice for Wollies, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack. With the scoreboard showing that 36 minutes had been played, Wollies nearly put themselves up another goal after J. Ryckx came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. VRACHELEN2 were pushed back, and had many dangerous counterattacks. An impressive one came 37 minutes into the match, but G. Arminius narrowly missed the free kick attempt that was awarded as a result of a foul. It was 0 - 2 at the break. Wollies claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

VRACHELEN2 needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 46 minutes G. Gülgün made way for F. van Son. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, VRACHELEN2's B. Coens was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes. G. de Wijze was given a chance to change things around. F. de Winter was handed the VRACHELEN2 captain's armband. There was concern in the stands when, at the 72 minute mark, VRACHELEN2's C. Degenaars hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. The home team's supporters got excited again when G. de Wijze broke through the visitors' central defence and caught their keeper off guard, making it 1 - 2. The game was characterised by rough play and many physical challenges on the wet field, but D. Moreels showed great heart and had a good game. With 79 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed D. Moreels of Wollies to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 1 - 3. The home crowd was not impressed when A. Bakke came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 86 minutes. Wollies were now up 1 - 4. E. Korsten challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 87 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it. Wollies had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

The most dominating VRACHELEN2 player was without a doubt G. Arminius. M. Plomp on the other hand, had a terrible day. D. Moreels performed admirably for Wollies. However, N. Domingos made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 4.
