Dark skies made the crowd of 803 at Fenis-Nus Arena a little nervous, but the rain held off. Berthold Abt was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Rafael Ćusa and Enrique Collados. Today, Fenis-Nus's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. Fenis-Nus took the lead 19 minutes in, as T. Sottocornola broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. E. Caponi looked like he could fly, as he rose high to head the ball. Unfortunately for FCQ 2000, the ball went just barely wide. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, T. Sottocornola got himself booked. The manager of Fenis-Nus was not happy. Fenis-Nus's D. Fiorillo left the field after 40 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was D. Bottegal. R. Treso became the new Fenis-Nus captain. M. Annoni's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert A. Bizzozero was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for FCQ 2000. 1 - 1. S. Papillon looked great 43 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' A. Bizzozero. Fenis-Nus were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. Fenis-Nus fans held their breath as R. Treso scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 2 - 1! After 44 minutes, Fenis-Nus's W. Szczyrbak found the back of the goal with a beautiful free kick. 3 - 1. T. Sottocornola knew he was in trouble after hacking down an opponent. Despite his pleading with the referee, the Fenis-Nus player was shown a second yellow card and dismissed from the game. The crowd roared its approval when S. Papillon somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by FCQ 2000's M. Annoni 44 minutes into the game. A bit later, FCQ 2000's J. Mättölä easily reduced the lead to 3 - 2 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. Halftime score was 3 - 2. FCQ 2000 claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.

The coach of Fenis-Nus was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, A. Husseiny came on for R. Treso. The Fenis-Nus captaincy was handed to G. Timpanaro. After 56 minutes of play, FCQ 2000's G. Eschilo unexpectedly struck an inside out ball from no angle at all and J. Mättölä slotted it into the net for 3 - 3. Players in Fenis-Nus heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. Fenis-Nus created a good opportunity to score 57 minutes into the match when F. Escalada's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. Many thought D. Ligas ought to have been awarded a penalty 73 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around I. Nicoletta after a determined run through the middle. FCQ 2000 had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

The most dominating Fenis-Nus player was without a doubt D. Ligas. A. Husseiny on the other hand, had a terrible day. FCQ 2000's top performer was clearly A. Bizzozero. However, E. Caponi made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 3.
