Dark skies made the crowd of 51563 at Quimeras Coliseum a little nervous, but the rain held off. Roderik Drooghaar was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Gaspare Masin and Bronisław Jacniacki. Hydras started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Hydras tried to focus their attacks down the middle. Abogados. seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. Hydras's A. Dutra was shown a yellow card after 11 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Unfortunately for Abogados., E. Née was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. V. Canchumanya replaced him. Hydras took the lead 13 minutes into the match after a magnificent free kick by B. Scaglione that made the score 1 - 0. After 36 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores after J. Zúñiga made it through the middle and struck home to make it 1 - 1. A. Dutra caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 38 minutes. This gave Hydras the 2 - 1 lead. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Hydras's J. Juárez increasing the lead to 3 - 1. It was 3 - 1 at the break. Hydras had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

J. Juárez could have increased the lead after 55 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. After 60 minutes, Abogados. switched F. De Capitani with M. Fernández, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave N. Torvi from Hydras a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 75 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Abogados. were forced into a substitution as P. Gângureanu couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing A. Lozano to come in off the bench. Hydras increased the lead as A. Dutra struck to make the score 4 - 1 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Abogados. were desperate to get a goal back and pushed forward through the middle 83 minutes into the game. After a scramble in the box, the ball dropped to V. Canchumanya, who smashed it home to make the score 4 - 2. After 84 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and J. Juárez gave the Hydras supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 5 - 2. By now, the players in Hydras felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. D. Fragoso was called on to replace Hydras's N. Torvi after 86 minutes following a nasty collision. Abogados. claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.

Hydras's top performer was clearly J. Juárez. S. Haeck on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Abogados. player was without a doubt M. Fernández. E. Chambers turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 5 - 2.
