The 2296 fans in attendance at La nava were roasting in the hot sun. Marek Mikosz was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jeffery Goossens and Adrian Lungu. Collegno saw most attack opportunities on the wings. They were singing the praises of G. Kamp 3 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Vadillo. 17 minutes into the game Collegno's S. Menetti found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 1 - 1. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, J. Gassó scored for Vadillo putting them ahead 2 - 1, after 25 minutes. J. Vujnović of Collegno received a yellow card after 32 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Cheers filled the stadium as G. Kamp broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 1 to Vadillo. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Vadillo lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. With 34 minutes played, Vadillo put themselves up 4 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to J. Gassó, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. S. Fioppo squirmed through their central defence after 36 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 1. It was 5 - 1 at the break. Vadillo claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 71 percent.

Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Collegno's A. Castagnino was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes. L. Piroddi was given a chance to change things around. With 46 minutes played, the Collegno coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. M. Troilo came on, R. Pirruccio had to leave the fray. After 46 minutes, Collegno switched Y. Messelberger with G. Cosimelli, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. Vadillo's T. Purontakanen saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 59 minutes. 69 minutes in, Vadillo's A. Kadłubowski received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. G. Cosimelli enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. When L. Büllinger left the game because of a back injury after 82 minutes, Collegno had to continue a man short due to there being no available replacements. After 83 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by A. Ulrich might have resulted in another goal for Vadillo. However, L. Piroddi made a spectacular save. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Vadillo scored another to make it 6 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for N. Slabu after 84 minutes. J. Gassó could have increased the lead after 85 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Possession in this half belonged to Vadillo, who controlled the ball 67 percent of the time.

S. Fioppo performed admirably for Vadillo. However, P. Magnusson made a disastrous appearance. Collegno's top performer was clearly C. Holecz. M. Troilo on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 6 - 1.
