(393089590)

11-07-2012 09.30
Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 642 at
22nd Arena today.
Carl-Heinz Mueller-Frey was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Gianfilippo Mecenero and
Rui Pedro Viseu.
A 5-4-1 alignment was the formation of choice for DONAUSTADT.
Lineup: Strolz - Petersdorf, Kollmann, Seethaler, Burger, Paccassoni - Leitner, Keissl, Huber, Jansenberger - Ebner.
Football tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination.
They fielded: Sellitsch - Turchetto, Iallonardi, Diaferia, Rossi - Criscenzo, Vialli, Corvatta, Manzato, Roccetti - Ferrigno.
29 minutes into the game, DONAUSTADT seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to
solid.
G. Kollmann of DONAUSTADT was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
DONAUSTADT's
E. Paccassoni left the field after 34 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was
S. Koits.
P. Burger became the new DONAUSTADT captain.
With 39 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience,
S. Koits needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed.
S. Manzato gave the visitors the lead 40 minutes into the match to make it 0 - 1. The goal was scored from the penalty spot after a handball in the penalty area.
41 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 2 as
U. Corvatta finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick.
A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from
D. Turchetto after 43 minutes, and prevented Football from going up another goal.
After 44 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as DONAUSTADT found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to
inadequate.
0 - 2 was the score after the first half.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Football, with 79 percent of the ball.
The DONAUSTADT players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a
solid organisation when the game started again.
Encouraged by their lead, after 46 minutes the Football coach asked
E. Ferrigno to change positions with
A. Criscenzo.
Had it not been for one of the home defenders,
E. Iallonardi would have put Football up another goal 48 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing.
P. Seethaler of DONAUSTADT received a yellow card after 67 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
68 minutes into the game, DONAUSTADT seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a
passable level of organisation.
75 minutes into the game, DONAUSTADT had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to
weak.
With 77 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
E. Iallonardi of Football to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 3.
D. Turchetto of Football took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 81 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 4.
Football had most of the ball, with 87 percent of possession.
DONAUSTADT's best player was
S. Koits.
H. Keissl was a disappointment, however.
Football's top performer was clearly
S. Manzato.
However,
G. Diaferia made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 0 - 4.
