Schraa was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 1 - 1. Baby's N. Avilés managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 35 minutes. 1 - 2. The visitors' I. Krekel took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 37 minutes into the match. 1 - 3 for Baby. A. Feyizdar of Fc bavois was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Fc bavois refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle, A. Feyizdar managed to slip the ball home for 2 - 3. J. Collado could have put his team up another goal 42 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. Halftime score was 2 - 3. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Baby, with 65 percent of the ball.

After 80 minutes, Fc bavois switched I. Riggle with S. Ory, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. The bench was restless, and with 80 minutes passed Fc bavois's coach gave G. Bourdin the opportunity the player had been hoping for. D. Boucher reluctantly left the field. The home crowd cheered when, after 80 minutes, P. Bono's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. J. Collado came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over I. Thürlemann but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Fc bavois were able to draw a foul with their counterattacks, but the shot from B. Bombardieri went into the arms of the keeper. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from P. Bono after 85 minutes, and prevented Baby from going up another goal. Baby claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 65 percent.

Most important Fc bavois player was M. Stentardo. A. Kapferer turned in a dismal performance, however. R. Mata performed admirably for Baby. F. Busiello was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 3.
