Due to an all-day shower, 1732 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Maxorga boys Arena. Oosterhoff cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. Maxorga's I. Demeyere was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - T. Kustos managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 4 - 0 after 40 minutes. After this, you could see that the players of Maxorga were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Maxorga put themselves up 5 - 0 when T. Kustos broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. At that, T. Kustos was noted down for a hat trick! F. Calander, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Maxorga, with 59 percent of the ball.
