That was far too lenient! 16 minutes into the game, Brâncovenești seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to inadequate. 19 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Birmanos was B. da Costa. Birmanos's D. Beobide had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 28 minutes having been played. T. Gabor was the replacement. 34 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as M. Horn broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Birmanos. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Birmanos lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. 41 minutes in, Brâncovenești appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only inadequate. Birmanos put in a good effort on the right, but L. Kools saw his volley fly wide of the mark 42 minutes into the game. Birmanos increased the lead as J. Mielikäinen struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. 3 - 0 was the score after the first half. Birmanos enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 77 percent of possession.

During the break, Brâncovenești's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organisation. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Brâncovenești's M. Van Heuckelom was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 55 minutes. B. Csipke was given a chance to change things around. Brâncovenești needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 60 minutes W. Piña made way for J. Galligo. The home side's L. Kools came close to extending the lead 63 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but R. Compte managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. Brâncovenești's M. Souza Lins was shown a yellow card after 68 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The bench was restless, and with 70 minutes passed Brâncovenești's coach gave A. Tişcă the opportunity the player had been hoping for. R. Grozavu reluctantly left the field. 76 minutes into the game, Brâncovenești seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organisation. Birmanos's C. Martínez de Felipe increased the lead to 4 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 77 minutes. After 81 minutes, L. Kools put Birmanos ahead 5 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. J. Mielikäinen unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. Birmanos had most of the ball, with 80 percent of possession.

The most dominating Birmanos player was without a doubt J. Mielikäinen. T. Gabor on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Brâncovenești player was A. Tişcă. R. Compte was a disappointment, however. The match ends 5 - 0.
