Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and KS_Derdziol Arena saw a crowd turnout of 2653. 3 minutes into the match MORAVAC's R. Hyyryläinen head butted an opponent nastily, and so the referee sent him off immediately. MORAVAC took the lead after A. Ulmeanu curved a free kick into the net. 0 - 1 Given a free kick in a difficult position after 34 minutes, MORAVAC tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. KS_Derdziol had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 35 minutes, but E. Ribechi's shot from the left sailed high over the bar. M. Michalski behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 38 minutes as he gave the ball away to K. Al-Baloushi. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. KS_Derdziol's R. Kuzia had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 42 minutes having been played. B. Fleischer was the replacement. A corner kick created great disorder in the penalty area with a goal nearly scored by J. Kumeļpēda. At last, MORAVAC's A. Fäh was able to backheel the ball in. 0 - 2. Halftime score was 0 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to MORAVAC, who controlled the ball 67 percent of the time.

A drive down the left side allowed J. Kumeļpēda to get in close and score another goal for MORAVAC after 47 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 3. After 56 minutes, A. Ulmeanu sent the corner kick right to É. Cailleteau who headed it sharply past the keeper. 0 - 4! After this, you could see that the players of MORAVAC were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. The MORAVAC free kick 79 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of G. Malagola, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 0 - 5! MORAVAC enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 67 percent of possession.

Most important KS_Derdziol player was U. Gillard. S. Worwąg turned in a dismal performance, however. G. Malagola performed admirably for MORAVAC. B. Baron on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 5.
