Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Neffa's Team Arena saw a crowd turnout of 2638. Fredrik Knutsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Lars H. Karlsson and Zdzisław Szczepański. Neffas tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. They fielded: Ceretta - Alistar, Hambeck, Konyk - Bębenkowski, Frisa, Thierstein, Laugsand, Boccia - Meles, van Dortmond.

Eddies decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Starters: Koolen - Ruijter, Żardecki, Zeijlemaker - van der Hoven, Krijt, Dopper, Kleuters, Panhuis - Eenhoorn, Teekens.

Neffas mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. Neffas took the lead 13 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as J. Meles elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. Eddies's R. Panhuis got himself booked for a foul. Unfortunately for Neffas, A. Konyk was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. F. Hasseler replaced him. 19 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as C. Hambeck broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Neffas. Neffas managed to extend their lead to 3 - 0 when R. Bębenkowski cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Neffas lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Neffas to 4 - 0 as S. Alistar finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. It was 4 - 0 at the break. Neffas enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 67 percent of possession.

A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Neffas's M. van Dortmond increasing the lead to 5 - 0. Coming from the right, F. Frisa almost managed to score another goal for Neffas, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. Eddies's F. Teekens left the field after 72 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was R. Senra. Neffas had most of the ball, with 68 percent of possession.

J. Meles performed admirably for Neffas. U. Thierstein was a disappointment, however. Most important Eddies player was L. Eenhoorn. B. Krijt on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 0.
