Ustara could have increased the lead after 14 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. 15 minutes into the game, Mister had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to poor. With 22 minutes played, J. Urtiaga could have brought this one home for Mister as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. 1 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Mister, who controlled the ball 66 percent of the time.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Mister was able to get his message across, and raised Mister's organisation to passable. With 46 minutes played, the United coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. I. Redondo came on, S. Steindl had to leave the fray. S. Cifuentes got left behind when United's R. Spaan made a sudden run forward after 50 minutes, finishing off with a neat strike. 1 - 1! At 52 minutes played, P. Derrech came in from the right with the intention of giving Mister the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. As X. Cunchas had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the Mister player a red card without batting an eyelid. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, K. van Iterson took over the role of being the Mister captain. 55 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a United substitution. V. Preduş came on for D. Bongers. After 60 minutes, the United coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving B. Gravesen off the field. D. Polka took his place. The terraces were silenced after 67 minutes when United's D. Iliński put the guests ahead 1 - 2, following an attack on the right. 79 minutes into the game, C. Veraza came close to levelling the score with a dangerous shot from the centre of the area that went just over the bar. Mister's E. Ustara was shown a yellow card after 84 minutes for slicing down an opponent. J. Van Styvendael couldn't finish the match after being injured, leaving United a man down. After a fatal mistake from the away team's right side defence 86 minutes into the match, an alert K. van Iterson bagged the ball for Mister, levelling the score to 2 - 2. Mister created a good opportunity to score 88 minutes into the match when K. van Iterson's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. Mister enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 70 percent of possession.

The most dominating Mister player was without a doubt P. Derrech. K. van Iterson turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important United player was M. Friedl. On the other hand, V. Preduş's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 2.
