Dark skies made the crowd of 809 at El Coloso de Recreo a little nervous, but the rain held off. Josh MacQueen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Arnold Hiele and Tullio Matteuzzi. Amigos tried to focus their attacks down the middle. E. Mañkepillan's lack of experience almost gave Travesura a goal after 8 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 23 minutes into the match, and G. Waddington wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, B. Lemus would have put Travesura up another goal 25 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. With 26 minutes played, after a good run down the left, J. Rilling went down looking for a penalty after a challenge from the visitors' right fullback, but the referee waved play on, and later warned him for diving. 31 minutes into the game, Amigos seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a solid level of organisation. A handball in the penalty area gave the home team a penalty 32 minutes into the match, and A. Pinilla was able to score, taking the scoreline to 1 - 1. Halftime score was 1 - 1. Travesura claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.

A review of the gameplan helped Amigos get back to a excellent organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 49 minutes into the match left Travesura's A. Huichanguir completely free to score. 1 - 2 for the visitors. M. Caro increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 1 - 3. 70 minutes into the game, Amigos had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to solid. 77 minutes in, Travesura's O.
