Abillach almost gave the home side the lead with an unexpected free kick set up, but the visitors' B. Gorostizu was onto it, grabbing the would be breakthrough ball. Leones made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left P. Castets completely alone with keeper B. Gorostizu, who made a spectacular block. They were singing the praises of P. Castets 14 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Leones. The visitors didn't give in and, after 21 minutes, J. Ångstål got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 1 - 1. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. Leones claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 75 percent.

R. Abillach was very close to giving Leones the lead with an ingenious free kick routine 65 minutes into the match, but the ball just grazed the bar. With 69 minutes played S. Casadio almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. 70 minutes into the game, Henån wanted to bring some new energy to their game. M. Schlüter gave A. Tandon a quick hug as he left the field. 70 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Henån substitution. L. Strömwald came on for M. Falkskär. S. Casadio gave Leones the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 2 - 1 Leones solidified their lead at the 73 minute mark, as M. Falkbom dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 1. 77 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as E. Varela broke through, making the score 4 - 1 for Leones. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Leones, with 81 percent of the ball.

Leones's top performer was clearly M. Falkbom. S. Klangskär was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Henån player was without a doubt B. Gorostizu. B. Östling on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 1.
