Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Goofy IF Arena saw a crowd turnout of 3175. Armando van Binsbergen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Kaare Udesen and Mark Lüthje. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Goofy. Goofy used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. Many thought P. Haugaard ought to have been awarded a penalty 3 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around I. Carciofi after a determined run through the middle. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 14 minutes into the match left Gialloblues's G. Cappello completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors. After 27 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Gialloblues found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to inadequate. With 31 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, P. Haugaard needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. The referee showed Gialloblues's G. Cappello the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Goofy were forced into a substitution as J. Rasborg couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing J. Méndez to come in off the bench. 40 minutes into the game, Gialloblues seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a poor level of organisation. 0 - 1 was the score after the first half. Goofy had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

During the break, Gialloblues's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to passable organisation. 47 minutes in, Gialloblues appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. 60 minutes into the game, Gialloblues seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to inadequate. F. Mauri of Gialloblues took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 64 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2. 69 minutes into the game, Gialloblues had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. Gialloblues's A. Gatto made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 71 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. The bench was restless, and with 80 minutes passed Goofy's coach gave E. Falkenberg the opportunity the player had been hoping for. T. Christiansen reluctantly left the field. Goofy needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 80 minutes P. Haugaard made way for M. Callesen. 80 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 3 as T. Dahlstrøm finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Against a lesser team, Gialloblues could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 81 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. After 82 minutes, the defensive line of Goofy created a counterattack through the middle that gave M. Enevold a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. Gialloblues enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.

Goofy's best player was J. Gil. However, M. Callesen made a disastrous appearance. Gialloblues's top performer was clearly T. Dahlstrøm. G. Cappello was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 3.
