Rulesz 8 - 1 Peters
(393209786)

11-07-2012 17.05
948 spectators arrived at
The Honey Jar, where weather conditions were pretty good for football.
José Ángel Tenesor was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Peter Cronér and
Kazimierz Niebieszczański.
Rulesz had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
Lineup: Razak - Koops, Hunkeler, Hyér - Bøgeskov, Cantón, Adam, Ciobanu, Hochreutener - Savunur, Habar.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Peters.
Starters: Dâmaso - Tarkowski, Sparre, Georgiev - Scarabelli, van der Goor, Tabaghua, Löbner, Molblad - Bättig, Vide.
Today, Peters's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks.
Peters's
B. Vide excelled in some fine tricks that completely confused
V. Adam - and the finish was no less spectacular - 0 - 1!
After 18 minutes,
C. Hochreutener made a dash down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the goal that made it 1 - 1.
The home side put themselves ahead 2 - 1 after 20 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from
L. Koops, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
L. Koops got himself booked. The manager of Rulesz was not happy.
Cheers filled the stadium as
A. Savunur broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 1 to Rulesz.
With 33 minutes played, Rulesz put themselves up 4 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
D. Habar, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home.
Confident in their lead, Rulesz's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
4 - 1 was the halftime score.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Rulesz, with 69 percent of the ball.
Peters kept trying to force their way through on the right side and
B. Vide got his chance after 61 minutes, but the home side's defence held their position and stopped the attack.
C. Hochreutener should probably have put his team up another goal after 63 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by
B. Dâmaso kept the visitors in the game.
Rulesz's
C. Hochreutener increased the lead to 5 - 1, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 68 minutes.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
A. Savunur squirmed through their central defence after 72 minutes, increasing the lead to 6 - 1.
V. Adam increased the lead for Rulesz to 7 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it!
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Rulesz to 8 - 1 as
O. Hyér finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
Rulesz claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 66 percent.
The most dominating Rulesz player was without a doubt
V. Adam.
On the other hand,
I. Razak's play was disheartening.
Peters's best player was
B. Vide.
B. Dâmaso on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 8 - 1.
