F.C.Zitotronas players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. The visitors' G. Bonfanti took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 33 minutes into the match. 1 - 3 for F.C.Zitotronas. The players of F.C.Zitotronas now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. 35 minutes into the match, S. After 55 minutes, F.C.Zitotronas's O. Lisei burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 2 - 4. Barotti's C. Ferrarini got himself booked for a foul. A marvellous Barotti effort on the right-hand side resulted in a goal after 62 minutes by M. Nicoletta, making the score 3 - 4. Almost all the way down to the corner flag, F.C.Zitotronas's J. Hubricht somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for O. Lisei, who struck for 3 - 5. Content with how the game was proceeding, the F.C.Zitotronas coach let P. Matla replace O. Lisei after 66 minutes. The home crowd were delighted when G. Minei scored with a header after an attack from the right, making the score 4 - 5. But did he use his hand? Minei could have reduced the lead with a blistering strike from the left wing, had it not been for an excellent block by the visitors' keeper.
