Uyttendaele had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide. It was almost a goal for Springteam following M. Ghirelli's good header after a corner, it went just over the bar though. 0 - 0 was the score after the first half. Springteam enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

49 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Springteam was J. Graz had a fantastic opportunity to put Springteam up another goal 80 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. After 86 minutes, Springteam began to show their lack of experience and they threatened to wilt under the heavy pressure from their opposition.
