Pigs put pressure on the visitors' central defence 33 minutes into the game, but J. Janić couldn't find an opening. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Pigs, with 51 percent of the ball.

66 minutes in, Pigs's M. Adelørn received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. With 67 minutes played, the Pigs coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. B. Köves came on, R. Mercurio had to leave the fray. Pigs's K. Chudasama made an attempt at equalising 67 minutes into the match, coming in from the right, but the ball hit the post and the defence easily cleared the rebound. V. Eliopoulos of Kals took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 68 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Pigs's A. Tingwell was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 70 minutes. L. Keskin was given a chance to change things around. The bench was restless, and with 73 minutes passed Pigs's coach gave M. García-Cardo the opportunity the player had been hoping for. A. Carlier reluctantly left the field. The home crowd was given a certain amount of consolation when J. Janić scored after a brilliant midfield combination through the centre, reducing the lead to 1 - 2. Kals's I. Ogden got himself booked for a foul. Kals's E. Kepert was shown a yellow card after 86 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Pigs's N. Everflod had to leave the pitch and there were no more available substitutions! L. Keskin rose to the challenge and took position between the goal posts. With 87 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, B. Köves needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. J. Janić of Pigs received a yellow card after 89 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. M. Adelørn showed the skills that make him a real crowd pleaser as he, after 89 minutes, wove through the guests' entire central defence and put the 2 - 2 equaliser away. Possession was split evenly between the teams.

As neither team was able to break the deadlock before the end of regular play, the teams took to the field again for extra time. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave M. García-Cardo from Pigs a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 110 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! 111 minutes into the match and the home team took a 3 - 2 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Pigs was D. Škapa. This put an end to extra time, making Pigs the winners. K. Chudasama performed admirably for Pigs. On the other hand, L. Keskin's play was disheartening. Kals's top performer was clearly I. Ogden.
