The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 1598 had shown up at Arena Ložič for the match. However, the target man seemed to be taken by surprise, and could not reach the ball before it crossed the line for a goal kick. 11 minutes into the game, Rošnja-Loka seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. RedBull's S. Bakula was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 28 minutes. RedBull's T. Vrhar was shown a yellow card after 38 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The head of F. Černilogar connected with a corner kick after 41 minutes, and the ball ended up with C. Gendron of RedBull who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 0 - 1. The crowd chanted their encouragement as Rošnja-Loka's A. Olstad came in from the right after 42 minutes and put the ball in the net to level the score at 1 - 1. The terraces were silenced after 43 minutes when RedBull's S. Bakula put the guests ahead 1 - 2, following an attack on the right. 44 minutes into the game, A. Yaniv had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came N. Grilli. With a shot curled in from just outside the middle of the penalty area after 44 minutes played, R. Rakuš of Rošnja-Loka made the score 2 - 2. RedBull's T. Vrhar left the field after 44 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was I. Benajes. The RedBull captaincy was handed to F. Černilogar. 2 - 2 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Rošnja-Loka, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

During the break, Rošnja-Loka's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organisation. With 62 minutes played A. Olstad almost gave the home side the lead with an unexpected free kick set up, but the visitors' R. Anžlovar was onto it, grabbing the would be breakthrough ball. Many thought V. Suhadolc ought to have been awarded a penalty 69 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around R. Anžlovar after a determined run through the middle. 73 minutes into the game, Rošnja-Loka seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to passable. The celebrations in the stands could only mean one thing - A. Olstad's free kick had found the back of the net and put Rošnja-Loka ahead 3 - 2! Rošnja-Loka increased the lead as A. Kunej struck to make the score 4 - 2 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Rošnja-Loka had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

A. Olstad performed admirably for Rošnja-Loka. S. Braznik was a disappointment, however. Most important RedBull player was B. Plassais. R. Anžlovar on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 2.
