Kudernatsch maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 1 - 1. Always quick and a menace to his opponents, E. Kudernatsch was very close to getting through after 17 minutes, but he could only put the ball into the keeper's arms. 29 minutes into the match, Máquina nearly took the lead, as P. Aros broke through on the right. A. Calzada made the save, however. After 36 minutes, Máquina were awarded a free kick. Rather than shooting straight at goal, the taker went for an indirect variant which seemed to take his team mates a bit by surprise. O. Rieff did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans. The home side put themselves ahead 2 - 1 after 38 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from D. Bürger, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. A scuffle developed as players from both sides clashed following a tussle in the centre of the field 41 minutes into the match. After regaining order and consulting his linesman, the referee called Máquina's R. Mermod to one side and produced a red card for the player. The crowd gasped as X. Sáenz of Máquina was flattened by an opponent after 42 minutes and had to be carried off. K. Buchenhain came in off the bench. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to FUEGUINO, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

After 50 minutes, Máquina used a short break in the game to take new instructions from their coach. The visitors kept the pressure on to tie the game when, after 53 minutes, P. Aros broke through the centre and found himself alone with the keeper. A. Calzada made a great block, though. FUEGUINO's P. Jelmini got himself booked for a foul. Máquina had to manage with a reduced squad after 84 minutes, as F. Maiato got sent off for a needless foul away from the game's action. J. Honores tried using a burst of speed to get past his defender after 85 minutes, but it takes more than that to get past fast K. Buchenhain. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in FUEGUINO's E. Kudernatsch increasing the lead to 3 - 1. At this point, it was obvious that the players of FUEGUINO lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. FUEGUINO enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

FUEGUINO's top performer was clearly P. Jelmini. However, L. Martins made a disastrous appearance. Máquina's best player was L. Molinier. M. Merdassi on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 1.
