Phantoms had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 12 minutes in when L. Bermudez came up alone against B. Lemański who managed a block. With 13 minutes played S. Pettit almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. 16 minutes into the game, Phantoms's G. Pallotta surprised the visitors with a raking cross-field pass to P. Paukert who easily found the back of the net, making the score 0 - 1. After 34 minutes of game time, L. Bermudez had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but B. Lemański was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. A. Mathiasson could have put his team up another goal 35 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Phantoms, with 61 percent of the ball.

51 minutes into the match, Trinkados's R. Oleggini maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 1 - 1. The corner kick from M. Delgado was powerfully met by the head of L. Larre to make the score 1 - 2. After 63 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for L. Larre who increased Phantoms's lead to 1 - 3. By now, the players in Phantoms felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. After 76 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed G. Pallotta to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 4. L. Bermudez left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 76 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. G. Küther was the replacement. At 77 minutes into the game, Trinkados's N. Boa Vista deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 2 - 4. Phantoms came close to extending their lead as A. Mathiasson delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 79 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. Phantoms enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 64 percent of possession.

Trinkados's best player was S. Fila. F. Marchessault on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Phantoms player was S. Capoeira. M. Kiełkowicz was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 4.
