2317 fans braved the pouring rain at The Sphere Pool. Leonhard Zwinggi was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Gonçalo Constante and Stefan Montag. Today, Aurochs's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. Supertrask made it 0 - 1 as C. Munerati got a touch to the floated corner kick and flicked the ball to J. Moltedo who whipped a low drive in off the far post. Players in Aurochs heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. With the crowd on their feet chanting wildly, some great moves down the right hand side after 31 minutes gave Aurochs a wonderful opportunity to level the score, and J. Van Hellemont stepped up to the challenge. 1 - 1 The visiting T. Mannari was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 34 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 1 - 2 was the score. Aurochs had no available replacements when G. Van De Putte had to leave the game after 36 minutes because of a pulled tendon, leaving the team a man short. R. Zwart rose to the challenge and took position between the goal posts. C. Munerati did not have a good day today, often losing his footing on the muddy pitch. Attacking on the wings was the choice for Aurochs, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack. The crowd chanted their encouragement as Aurochs's J. Van Hellemont came in from the right after 42 minutes and put the ball in the net to level the score at 2 - 2. It was 2 - 2 at the break. Aurochs claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

Some things can only be learned through experience, and G. Bertani should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting Aurochs a goal with 55 minutes of the match played. Supertrask took the lead after 72 minutes making the score 2 - 3. J. Moltedo placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. Due to some great work on the right wing Aurochs's A. Pytel was able to even the score after 77 minutes to make the score 3 - 3. Aurochs enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

As neither team was able to break the deadlock before the end of regular play, the teams took to the field again for extra time. After 91 minutes, the Supertrask coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving V. Verardi off the field. O. Bonacci took his place. The guests took the lead 94 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in G. Rizzetto scoring to make it 3 - 4. What a dramatic win for Supertrask! Most important Aurochs player was J. Van Hellemont. R. Zwart was a disappointment, however. Supertrask's best player was G. Rizzetto. O. Bonacci on the other hand, had a terrible day.
