Hackerheim 2 - 2 Corazon
(393259796)

17-07-2012 18.30
A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 2190 to
Costa am Ring Arena.
Fulvio Maltoni was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Lave Fredriksson and
Romano Tur.
Hackerheim started off with a 5-3-2 lineup.
Starters: Penha - Bazler, Larisch, Dumitrescu, Buliga, Arbenz - Friedell, Vohánka, Valckx - Makles, Wahala.
Corazon had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
Lineup: Mezid - Orbeta, Romero, Ratte - Basse, Bittner, Iglesia, Vilkuna, Wäänänen - Rovati, Guixós.
Corazon were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks.
This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when
E. Orbeta slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against
A. Penha, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes.
Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile
L. Arbenz.
The terraces were silenced after 29 minutes when Corazon's
E. Orbeta put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right.
A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from
V. Iglesia after 34 minutes, and prevented Corazon from going up another goal.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
T. Bazler got himself booked. The manager of Hackerheim was not happy.
The home crowd cheered when, after 41 minutes,
G. Rovati's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day.
0 - 1 was the score after the first half.
Possession in this half belonged to Corazon, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.
It was obvious that Corazon had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle.
With 53 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
G. Rovati of Corazon to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2.
Hackerheim supporters cheered as good work down the right got the ball to
R. Larisch who reduced the visitors' lead after 58 minutes to 1 - 2.
With the crowd on their feet chanting wildly, some great moves down the right hand side after 70 minutes gave Hackerheim a wonderful opportunity to level the score, and
J. Dumitrescu stepped up to the challenge. 2 - 2
L. Vilkuna of Corazon received a yellow card after 72 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
Corazon's
S. Romero could have put the guests one up after 81 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but
A. Penha was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Corazon, with 51 percent of the ball.
The most dominating Hackerheim player was without a doubt
J. Makles.
M. Valckx on the other hand, had a terrible day.
O. Bittner performed admirably for Corazon.
However,
H. Mezid made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 2 - 2.
