Due to an all-day shower, 2751 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Estadio Felix Vermeiren. Tiger-Dragon's M. Kempczyński made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 56 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. S. Butzke could have put his team up another goal 69 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. The referee showed Tiger-Dragon's O. Gnjato the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 79 minutes into the game, Tiger-Dragon had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to weak. Tiger-Dragon's S. Butzke got himself booked for a foul. With 89 minutes played, the Lozer coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. I. Schiavoni came on, E. Kask had to leave the fray. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Lozer's L. Beernaert was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 89 minutes. J. Sahanen was given a chance to change things around. Tiger-Dragon had most of the ball, with 74 percent of possession.
