For their match strategy, chicos had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. After 3 minutes, Brunohias sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached C. Fuernsinn, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 1 - 0. Brunohias increased the lead as N. Gelfort struck to make the score 2 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Confident in their lead, Brunohias's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Cheers filled the stadium as M. Furth broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 0 to Brunohias. With 20 minutes played, Brunohias put themselves up 4 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to N. Gelfort, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Brunohias had a magnificent opportunity after 21 minutes as N. Gelfort hit the ball hard from the edge of the penalty box. However, the shot went wide. 4 - 0 was the score after the first half. Brunohias had most of the ball, with 76 percent of possession.

T. Adamsdotter was ever so close to scoring after an excellent corner was beautifully flicked on by M. Tretscher, but the ball bounced off the post to safety. After 64 minutes chicos's R. Popelaire limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. It was a fine day for R. Popelaire on his wing, his cross pass to C. Ortuzar was especially delicate 69 minutes into the game, but the keeper saved. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Brunohias's L. Panicker increasing the lead to 5 - 0. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Brunohias scored another to make it 6 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for N. Gelfort after 79 minutes. By then N. Gelfort had scored three goals - a hat trick! A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Brunohias to 7 - 0 as T. Adamsdotter finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. T. Adamsdotter could have increased the lead after 82 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Brunohias's C. Fuernsinn was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 83 minutes. 84 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as L. Panicker broke through, making the score 8 - 0 for Brunohias. Brunohias claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 75 percent.

Brunohias's top performer was clearly L. Panicker. B. Sergitten turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important chicos player was C. Soto. However, C. Langdon made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 8 - 0.
