Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 2407 to Death Square Arena. Nicolas Staley was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jean Pirmez and Flurin Schille. Today, Balboka's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of FC.ALWOLLO. With 17 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. E. Mekelburg put the ball away for 0 - 1. After 23 minutes of game time, U. Fridrich had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but G. Rédey was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. With 26 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, A. Okoń needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. After 32 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave R. Sterneder a chance to increase the lead for FC.ALWOLLO, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. FC.ALWOLLO enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

As the match clock hit 46 minutes, FC.ALWOLLO regrouped to try and keep their initiative in the game. E. Mekelburg high-fived R. Sterneder as they swapped positions on the team. After 48 minutes, FC.ALWOLLO raised their score by one when D. Bauschke's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by F. Rokvić. 0 - 3. By now, the players in FC.ALWOLLO felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. 60 minutes into the match, F. Rokvić came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Balboka almost scored after a counterattack 61 minutes into the match, but A. Krūze took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. After 68 minutes, FC.ALWOLLO's E. Mekelburg burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 4. Possession in this half belonged to FC.ALWOLLO, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

R. Gout performed admirably for Balboka. On the other hand, A. Klindić's play was disheartening. The most dominating FC.ALWOLLO player was without a doubt F. Spaccamela. W. Hökblom was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 4.
