Clouds darkened the skies at Cornuto Arena as 2734 spectators turned up for the match. Aleks Uba was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Juan José Leiva and Didier Kraaijeveld. Traidor decided to use a 2-5-2 set up. Lineup: Brandimarti - Picone, Recke - Jula, Musotto, Frisone, Tansini, Konyushenko - Ciano, Cimato.

A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for PU FC. The following players took the field: Potard - Šegovič, Izu - Vincent, Rubio Sáez, Alouen, Tomov, Taine - Delandre, Torres, Castañeda.

It was an obvious ambition of PU FC to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. V. Konyushenko caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 3 minutes. This gave Traidor the 1 - 0 lead. Coming from the right, L. Recke almost managed to score another goal for Traidor, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. 15 minutes in, PU FC's M. Castañeda received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. After 17 minutes, Traidor's L. Recke found the back of the goal with a beautiful free kick. 2 - 0. 28 minutes into the game, Traidor had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. M. The Traidor players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a solid organisation when the game started again. V. Konyushenko could have put Traidor up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 47 minutes. The bench was restless, and with 69 minutes passed PU FC's coach gave T. Berrekhissa the opportunity the player had been hoping for. M. Castañeda reluctantly left the field. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, T. Šegovič took over the role of being the PU FC captain. The home side's L. Recke curled a free kick home after 72 minutes, putting Traidor ahead 3 - 1. The players of Traidor now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. A well-executed free kick by L. Recke after 77 minutes made it 4 - 1 for Traidor. At that, L. Recke was noted down for a hat trick! V. Konyushenko could have increased the lead after 80 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. After 81 minutes, the defensive line of PU FC created a counterattack through the middle that gave A. Torres a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. Possession in this half belonged to Traidor, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.

A. Ciano performed admirably for Traidor. G. Brandimarti turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating PU FC player was without a doubt T. Šegovič. T. Berrekhissa on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 1.
