Lineup: van Rootselaar - de Freitas, Chifan, Bodnár, Pintér, Somlyódy - Reczai, Őrfi, Dodebier - Börcsök, Gschwindl.
Derákia were relying on their ability to counter-attack.
G. Bodnár, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass.
After 11 minutes Derákia tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately,
L. Gschwindl's shot sailed wide after his break down the right.
Sovereign's
P. Piffeteau left the field after 32 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was
P. Biemer.
Sovereign's
B. Marino set up a perfect opportunity for
É. Étcheberry, but the latter failed to score.
Sovereign took the lead 35 minutes in, as
P. Ramirez broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper.
Sovereign increased the lead as

The Derákia players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team.

Sovereign's
J. Bouclet increased the lead to 4 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 58 minutes.
By now, the players in Sovereign felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
Sovereign's
S. Corneloup refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 63 minutes.
Morale on the visitors' bench was greatly improved when their
B. Őrfi reduced the lead to make it 4 - 1 after 65 minutes, following a pass from the right.
