Kristola almost tied things up with 40 minutes played after breaking through on the right, but his shot deflected off the post. dehshir's F. Asghar Nia was shown a yellow card after 41 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Due to a severely mistimed tackle, T. Valmoggia of Dinamo spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. With the scoreboard showing that 43 minutes had been played, Dinamo nearly put themselves up another goal after E. Kulick came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. 0 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Dinamo, with 75 percent of the ball.

A drive down the left side allowed E. Kulick to get in close and score another goal for Dinamo after 53 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 2. With 69 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed B. Koene of Dinamo to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 3. E. Kulick of Dinamo took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 74 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 4. A. Suances could have put his team up another goal 75 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. Dinamo had most of the ball, with 74 percent of possession.
