Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 1811 to Neffa's Team Arena. Franz Wirtz was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jukka Maksimov and Drąsius Girončikas. Neffas displayed their ability to play creatively. It was an obvious ambition of wifly to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. Neffas fans held their breath as A. Konyk scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0! Neffas's A. Konyk left the field after 22 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was V. Bongiorno. wifly were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. The home side's L. Brigham curled a free kick home after 38 minutes, putting Neffas ahead 2 - 0. The referee showed Neffas's S. Perucci the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. With 40 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, L. Vizconde needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. With 41 minutes played, Neffas put themselves up 3 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to A. Roncisvalle, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Neffas lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Coming from the right, A. Liserre almost managed to score another goal for Neffas, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Neffas, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

With 47 minutes played, Neffas's L. Brigham almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. R. Ciottoni wanted to play on, but the Neffas coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 60 minutes into the game by G. De Fauw. M. Trengereid's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert E. Gurruchategui was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for wifly. 3 - 1. 71 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as M. Riccomi broke through, making the score 4 - 1 for Neffas. Neffas's S. Perucci had an excellent opportunity after 76 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! Neffas claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 69 percent.

Neffas's best player was G. De Fauw. I. Galeota turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important wifly player was A. Fabera. However, F. Reves made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 1.
