Borras had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 34 minutes having been played. S. Knudsen was the replacement. chiens had a chance to level the score as E. Stein suddenly found himself free in the middle of the box with only the keeper to beat, but he misjudged the finish, and only managed to hit the bar. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 1 - 2 lead. chiens nearly produced a goal as S. Bernier set up S. Demay for a strike from a seemingly impossible angle. However he put the shot narrowly wide. chiens's M. Richard made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 81 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by chiens, with 52 percent of the ball.
