With 81 minutes played, J. Leriņš-Pētersons of BYA fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Many thought D. Briceño ought to have been awarded a penalty 85 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around V. Linhares after a determined run through the middle. BYA almost scored after a counterattack 86 minutes into the match, but G. Tinuper took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. 88 minutes into the game BYA managed a counterattack, but J. Leriņš-Pētersons took a soft shot from the left flank that was easy prey for the alert keeper. 89 minutes into the match, the speedy D. Jiménez easily outpaced F. Shellukindo, chipped the keeper and made the score 1 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Casakeros, with 77 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Casakeros player was without a doubt B. Fortier. G. Cerezo was a disappointment, however. Most important BYA player was K. Taherkhan. T. Rankonen turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 0.
