(393316213)

It had rained all day, but 1421 hardy fans still made it out to
Kalvbekken Arena.
David Hess was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Mathias Rolf Bargfriczk and
Tuncay Meulenbroek.
Tandberg tactics involved an interesting 4-3-3 combination.
Starters: Petersen - Norling, Apeland, Żmich, Stub - Lie, Johansen, Lucius - Bru, Hoel, Roth.
Kilhus decided to use a 4-4-2 set up.
The following players took the field: Valstad - Duarte, Sanchez, Filipovskis, Czyż - Hattachi, Derobertis, Novković, Sievers - Jena, Heimdal.
Tandberg seemed to prefer attacking in the middle.
Kilhus clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could.
After 8 minutes,
T. Bru came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Tandberg the lead.
After 9 minutes,
T. Lie put Tandberg ahead 2 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.
J. Stub seemed highly inexperienced when, after 18 minutes, he was caught dilly-dallying with the ball and allowed
D. Hattachi to intercept and strike home the goal for Kilhus to make the score 2 - 1.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
J. Hoel squirmed through their central defence after 21 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 1.
Tandberg solidified their lead at the 28 minute mark, as
J. Stub dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 1.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Tandberg lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
D. Czyż nearly reduced the lead 29 minutes into the game, but a splendid one-handed save by
L. Petersen prevented the attempt coming in from the right flank from hitting the back of the net.
It was 4 - 1 at the break.
Tandberg claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 75 percent.
After 46 minutes, Kilhus switched
T. Valstad with
T. Aakvik, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch.
Kilhus needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 46 minutes
D. Novković made way for
M. Masciotra.
The bench was restless, and with 46 minutes passed Kilhus's coach gave
Y. Malyarov the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
J. Sievers reluctantly left the field.
The game was characterised by rough play and many physical challenges on the wet field, but
M. Masciotra showed great heart and had a good game.
J. Hoel should probably have put his team up another goal after 49 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by
T. Aakvik kept the visitors in the game.
The Tandberg players could smell victory in the air.
J. Hoel wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for
J. Heide after 62 minutes.
Content with how the game was proceeding, the Tandberg coach let
M. Øvrebø replace
T. Bru after 66 minutes.
J. Stub left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 66 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
H. Johansen was the replacement.
Cheers filled the stadium as
T. Johansen broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 5 - 1 to Tandberg.
R. Heimdal, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass.
A free kick just outside of the visitors' penalty area after 83 minutes could have resulted in another goal, but
T. Aakvik got a hand out and tipped the ball over the bar.
After 84 minutes, a well-worked counterattack by Kilhus on the right presented an easy opportunity in front of the goal that was duly converted by
D. Czyż to make it 5 - 2.
M. Norling of Tandberg received a yellow card after 85 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
Possession in this half belonged to Tandberg, who controlled the ball 67 percent of the time.
T. Lie performed admirably for Tandberg.
M. Norling on the other hand, had a terrible day.
Kilhus's best player was
M. Masciotra.
D. Hattachi turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 5 - 2.
