Carvajal finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. With 11 minutes played, falkarna put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was C. Lotvonen. 12 minutes into the game, falkarna worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. M. Pihulia of falkarna received a yellow card after 15 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. A corner kick created great disorder in the penalty area with a goal nearly scored by E. Frizzarin. At last, falkarna's B. Grabek was able to backheel the ball in. 0 - 3. Confident in their lead, falkarna's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. falkarna came close to extending their lead as M. Pihulia delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 31 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. E. Frizzarin could have put his team up another goal 47 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post.
