The wings were the focus of most of Lionel's attacks today. Laar were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. Down the middle came C. Pöschk, making a fantastic play that nearly had Laar take the lead after 3 minutes, but M. Perkasa preserved the tie. Laar's C. Pöschk refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 12 minutes. The guests took the lead 23 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in J. Schadenhofer scoring to make it 0 - 1. R. Zauber enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. With 29 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed M. Weilhelm of Laar to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. It was 0 - 2 at the break. Laar enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.

Lionel had a brilliant opportunity to reply as D. Sætra received a high ball from the right, striking the ball in the air. Only A. Nemes's reflexes saved him. R. Zauber of Laar took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 61 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 3. H. Akçınar wanted to play on, but the Laar coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 61 minutes into the game by P. Nottmeier. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Laar coach let P. Frackenpohl replace A. Nemes after 62 minutes. C. Pudjo was called on to replace Lionel's H. Sobur after 64 minutes following a nasty collision. With 70 minutes played, J. Schadenhofer nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. 75 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 4 as H. Uhlich finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Laar lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Laar were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. With 77 minutes played, Laar put themselves up 0 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was N. Jänsch. 78 minutes in, Laar's J. Schadenhofer received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. L. Sampoerna was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Lionel's D. Sörup had to come off the bench. Lionel's C. Pudjo cut towards the middle after 80 minutes, receiving a brilliant pass and slicing through the visiting team's central defence, reducing the lead to 1 - 5. After 84 minutes Lionel's R. Průdek contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Lionel, with 52 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Lionel player was without a doubt D. Sörup. I. Khusaeri was a disappointment, however. Most important Laar player was P. Nottmeier. H. Uhlich turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 5.
