3 minutes in, Goya's C. Herrera received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. They were singing the praises of J. Isselhorst 33 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Goya. Goya's L. Villaverde had an excellent opportunity after 34 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.

After 72 minutes M. Ćurguz made a speedy advance and dropped the ball to D. Batrić who shuffled it past the keeper. The score was now 1 - 1. With 74 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, U. Marinković needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. Making his way up the middle 85 minutes into the match, T. Bettencourt almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert J. Pasini blocked it to keep the score level. Possession was split evenly between the teams.

N. Lopes performed admirably for Goya. J. Isselhorst turned in a dismal performance, however. Prokletstvo's best player was M. Šavija. On the other hand, N. Vujanić's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 1.
