1532 fans braved the pouring rain at Farinato Stadium. Son Tô was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Volkan Hasene and Koit Luts. Mirobriga started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. M. Ruggels was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 28 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from O. Dursun, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. Mirobriga's C. Soon was shown a yellow card after 29 minutes for slicing down an opponent. MWS's S. Koljonen left the field after 30 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was G. Korpics. A well-executed free kick by C. Barriga after 37 minutes made it 2 - 0 for Mirobriga. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave J. Mannerlehto from MWS a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 39 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! G. Ferraguti was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Mirobriga's Q. Chevalley had to come off the bench. After 41 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by R. Cózar might have resulted in another goal for Mirobriga. However, A. Navarro made a spectacular save. Mirobriga put themselves up 3 - 0 when R. Fernández broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Mirobriga, who controlled the ball 76 percent of the time.

C. Barriga could have increased the lead after 50 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Mirobriga's J. Fontaine increased the lead to 4 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 55 minutes. The players of Mirobriga now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. 63 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as C. Soon broke through, making the score 5 - 0 for Mirobriga. R. Cózar sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from C. Barriga after 66 minutes of play, making the score 6 - 0. MWS's J. Bruyère got himself booked for a foul. A free kick just outside of the visitors' penalty area after 69 minutes could have resulted in another goal, but A. Navarro got a hand out and tipped the ball over the bar. MWS needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 70 minutes J. Mannerlehto made way for M. Kraatz. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, MWS's N. Ricaldi was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 75 minutes. A. Bednar was given a chance to change things around. The MWS captaincy was handed to S. Plörer. 79 minutes into the game, J. Fontaine had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came C. Ullram. 85 minutes into the game, MWS's attack got through on the right, but A. Bednar couldn't handle the ball and his feeble kick wound up in the keeper's arms. Mirobriga enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 79 percent of possession.

The most dominating Mirobriga player was without a doubt R. Cózar. M. Hererra was a disappointment, however. MWS's top performer was clearly V. Cascais. A. Navarro on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 6 - 0.
