2737 spectators arrived at Arenque's Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Máté Imre was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Alberto Merino Heredia and Herbert Stocker. Ivanquel started off with a 5-4-1 lineup. Predator showed off their creative tactics. Predator took the lead 13 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. F. Sandbratt was the scorer. Predator's N. Jacis was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - N. Nilsson managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 0 - 2 after 17 minutes. Good work by the Predator defensive line after 19 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found J. Edvinsson alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. T. Leijonér sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from J. Edvinsson after 22 minutes of play, making the score 0 - 3. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from N. Nilsson after 33 minutes, and prevented Predator from going up another goal. 34 minutes in, Ivanquel's G. Costa received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. J. Edvinsson was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Predator's M. Ångbo had to come off the bench. J. Carlsson received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 41 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Predator fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. A drive down the left side allowed N. Nilsson to get in close and score another goal for Predator after 42 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 5. After 43 minutes, Predator's F. Sandbratt burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 6. The players of Predator now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Halftime score was 0 - 6. Predator enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

Ivanquel needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 46 minutes B. Vogt made way for E. Montiel. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave B. Gröönstål from Predator a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 57 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! With 60 minutes played, the Ivanquel coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. J. Jiménez came on, R. Wehrmann had to leave the fray. In a rapid move 68 minutes into the match, W. Radkowski of Ivanquel lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked G. Moreno who easily hit it home to make it 1 - 6. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! Ivanquel reduced the lead to 2 - 6 with 70 minutes on the clock when G. Costa got the best of a ball floated in from the left. After 73 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave M. Sjöholt a chance to increase the lead for Predator, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 2 - 7. Predator had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

The most dominating Ivanquel player was without a doubt C. van Ooijen. G. Costa turned in a dismal performance, however. Predator's top performer was clearly N. Nilsson. J. Carlsson on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 7.
