A scorching day at
Love&Peace Arena, where 736 spectators were in place for today's match.
Jon Miller was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Dreas Coghe and
Nicodemo Dechant.
Miccas started off with a 4-3-3 lineup.
The following players took the field: Losurdu - Kochaj, Giacomini, Costantino, Grilli - Flores, Bocale, Mañas - Panato, Panigo, Naranjo.
rossoneri tactics involved an interesting 5-3-2 combination.
They fielded: Abbieri - Raposo, Iturrieta, La Farina, Nogales, van der Borgt - Roiz, Arrondo, Falix - Magnanimi, de Araújo.
It was an obvious ambition of Miccas to use their ability at attacking on the flanks.
rossoneri tried to focus their attacks down the middle.
The guests almost went up by a goal after 18 minutes when
A. de Araújo came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though.
Miccas's
Z. Kochaj was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 34 minutes.
35 minutes into the game,
A. Arrondo almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar.
40 minutes into the game, rossoneri had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to
passable.
Central attacks were the recipe of the day for rossoneri, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity.
A. de Araújo came close to putting the visiting team one up 42 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but
G. Losurdu managed to tip the ball to a corner.

rossoneri claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 66 percent.
A review of the gameplan helped rossoneri get back to a
solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again.
After 58 minutes, the home side was awarded a penalty. The visitors protested wildly but the referee was adamant.
P. Costantino easily put the ball away to give the lead to Miccas. 1 - 0
P. Flores enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again.
The crowd was silenced 61 minutes into the match as the visiting team's
D. Iturrieta came in from the left, levelling the score to 1 - 1.
rossoneri had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks.
Down the middle came
G. Magnanimi, making a fantastic play that nearly had rossoneri take the lead after 81 minutes, but
G. Losurdu preserved the tie.
82 minutes in, rossoneri appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
solid.
Miccas took the lead 86 minutes in, as
S. Grilli broke through on the left and put the 2 - 1 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper.
87 minutes into the match the visitors levelled the score at 2 - 2 as
A. Arrondo struck home from a rebound off the crossbar, following a shot from the right.
rossoneri had most of the ball, with 63 percent of possession.
Miccas's best player was
M. Naranjo.
On the other hand,
P. Flores's play was disheartening.
D. Iturrieta performed admirably for rossoneri.
However,
A. Abbieri made a disastrous appearance.
