The crowd of 3169 turning up at
Campo dei Forti today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain.
Erik Tuvstedt was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Achim Eisl and
Frank Henriksson.
Gialloblues tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination.
The following players took the field: Carciofi - Andrássy, Finnbjörnsson - Faccio, Cappello, Gatto, Biscazzi, Karwot - Dahlstrøm, Aandenboom, Mauri.
Gletz had chosen a strategic 2-5-3 formation.
Lineup: Comacchio - Favole, Voetter - Kopowski, Levi, Rezzónico, Maciejczyk, Mega - Češka, Quiñonez, Forclas.
18 minutes in, Gletz appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
weak.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
B. Kopowski from Gletz a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 29 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
Gialloblues were forced into a substitution as
A. Gatto couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing
B. Molaro to come in off the bench.
With 33 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as
M. Biscazzi flipped the ball in after a cross from the right.
Gialloblues managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when
R. Aandenboom cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
F. Mauri could have put Gialloblues up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 39 minutes.
The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0.
Gialloblues had most of the ball, with 64 percent of possession.

solid organisation.
Gialloblues's
M. Biscazzi swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball.
B. Kopowski of Gletz seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 2 - 1 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by
E. Češka.
Gialloblues put themselves up 3 - 1 when
T. Dahlstrøm broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake.

F. Mauri struck to make the score 4 - 1 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
Gialloblues's
R. Aandenboom got himself booked for a foul.
With 74 minutes played,
E. Češka of Gletz fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
76 minutes into the game, Gletz had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to
inadequate.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as Gialloblues scored another to make it 5 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
G. Cappello after 77 minutes.
After this, you could see that the players of Gialloblues were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Gialloblues, with 67 percent of the ball.
B. Molaro performed admirably for Gialloblues.
G. Cappello on the other hand, had a terrible day.
Most important Gletz player was
M. Levi.
However,
D. Voetter made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 5 - 1.
