Dark skies made the crowd of 849 at kuti team Arena a little nervous, but the rain held off. kuti were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. Mustang demonstrated their creative tactics on the field. 0 - 1 was the score with 8 minutes played, after B. Messely cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Mustang. With the crowd on their feet chanting wildly, some great moves down the right hand side after 30 minutes gave kuti a wonderful opportunity to level the score, and J. Snippe stepped up to the challenge. 1 - 1 The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave K. Tofil from Mustang a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 31 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by kuti, with 54 percent of the ball.

Players in kuti heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. With 57 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 2 - 1 lead as A. Marzo flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. K. Tofil was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, Mustang's L. Goblet managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 2 - 2 kuti were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. kuti fans held their breath as T. Gass scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 3 - 2! kuti's D. Mihai increased the lead to 4 - 2, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 70 minutes. kuti claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

kuti's top performer was clearly J. Snippe. M. Zink was a disappointment, however. Most important Mustang player was B. Messely. However, J. Noordman made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 2.
