(393378327)

17-07-2012 18.30
Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and
Schlosspark Arena saw a crowd turnout of 2489.
Fridtjof Haugan was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Savaş Duruöz and
Tommy Persson.
FC BBG decided to use a 5-4-1 set up.
The following players had been chosen: Dollmann - Gegenfurtner, Dool, Rahden, Jagger, Eppendorf - Mareich, Gillhaußen, Böhler, Sengelmann - Galip.
GRIVI started off with a 3-4-3 lineup.
Lineup: Ferri - Moratti, Lanconelli, Surian - Čypas, Palazzo, Coira Guimarey, Traina - Piazzo, Cosp, Gottesheim.
After 11 minutes, GRIVI's
A. Cosp made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1.
24 minutes into the game, FC BBG seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a
weak level of organisation.
With 28 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
M. Palazzo of GRIVI to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2.
After 29 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
V. Gottesheim who increased GRIVI's lead to 0 - 3.
The players of GRIVI now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
When
H. Gillhaußen left the game because of a back injury after 30 minutes, FC BBG had to continue a man short due to there being no available replacements.
The home crowd was not impressed when
M. Palazzo came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 31 minutes. GRIVI were now up 0 - 4.
36 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 5 as
V. Lanconelli finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick.
It was 0 - 5 at the break.
GRIVI had most of the ball, with 68 percent of possession.
During the break, FC BBG's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to
passable organisation.
50 minutes into the game a free kick by
T. Coira Guimarey found its way through the home side's poorly assembled defensive formation, making GRIVI's lead 0 - 6.
Some fine movement on the left led to a GRIVI goal after 56 minutes, making it 0 - 7.
S. Piazzo was noted down as the scorer.
K. Dollmann got a fingertip on
A. Cosp's shot from the left 57 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal.
65 minutes into the game, FC BBG had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to
passable.
A. Cosp of GRIVI took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 67 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 8.
The referee showed FC BBG's
D. Galip the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
GRIVI were forced into a substitution as
S. Piazzo couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing
A. Venneri to come in off the bench.
GRIVI enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.
FC BBG's top performer was clearly
L. Sengelmann.
N. Dool was a disappointment, however.
The most dominating GRIVI player was without a doubt
A. Cosp.
However,
S. Surian made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 0 - 8.
