(393378718)

17-07-2012 21.00
Dark skies made the crowd of 1912 at
White Hart Lane a little nervous, but the rain held off.
Andrzej Antoszczyk was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Fausto Prelle and
Rufino Ortiz.
Tottenham started off with a 3-4-3 lineup.
The following players had been chosen: Fanton - Defoe, Gill, Sangster - Pinchen, Gowing, Batham, Webster - Noveri, Haycock, Folden.
Yogagutta tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
The following players took the field: Tołpa - Asta, Moen, Papliński - Skalari, Davidsen, Toma, Minoni, Kießlinger - Tufte, Nafti.
Yogagutta seemed to prefer attacking in the middle.
Yogagutta's
Ş. Toma got himself booked for a foul.
D. Gill caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 25 minutes. This gave Tottenham the 1 - 0 lead.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
T. Tufte from Yogagutta a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 30 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
The home team will be cursing
L. Nafti for weeks; he finished off a great pass from the left, knocking it past the keeper without a problem. The match was level at 1 - 1 after 31 minutes.
The referee showed Yogagutta's
K. Moen the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
It was obvious that team Yogagutta had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings.
Yogagutta's
Ş. Toma gave the visitors a 1 - 2 lead after 38 minutes with a superb strike from the right.
Tottenham's
S. Haycock was shown a yellow card after 39 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
After 40 minutes Tottenham's
M. Webster limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue.
R. Skalari could have added one to the visitors' lead if his free kick had gone just a little lower.
43 minutes in, Yogagutta's
L. Nafti received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
1 - 2 was the score after the first half.
Possession was split evenly between the teams.
After 47 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
K. Moen who increased Yogagutta's lead to 1 - 3.
Confident in their lead, Yogagutta's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
After 69 minutes of game time,
T. Tufte had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but
V. Fanton was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner.
The game was close to savage at times, and Yogagutta's
K. Moen received a second yellow card after 78 minutes; his ticket out of the game.
Yogagutta claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.
Tottenham's best player was
S. Haycock.
On the other hand,
M. Webster's play was disheartening.
Most important Yogagutta player was
L. Nafti.
E. Davidsen on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 1 - 3.
