After 48 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed Ž. Čobanov to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 2. The players of FC.DJ now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. B. Derikučka of FC.DJ was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Ž. Čobanov was doing a great job on his wing, sending in brilliant passes to his teammates in the middle, but M. Milašević seemed unable to profit from this excellent service. The home team's supporters got excited again when G. Korman broke through the visitors' central defence and caught their keeper off guard, making it 1 - 2. The corner kick from M. Tsiranidis was powerfully met by the head of G. Korman to make the score 2 - 2. FC.DJ players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. Florina's slick passing moves completely confused the defence after 84 minutes, but thanks to Z. Bedak's miraculous save from B. Fjällquist's long shot the score remained unchanged. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for FC.DJ, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. 86 minutes into the game, B. Derikučka almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. FC.DJ claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 68 percent.

M. Tsiranidis performed admirably for Florina. F. Statek was a disappointment, however. Most important FC.DJ player was Š. Džubur. However, Z. Bedak made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 2.
