(393395730)

17-07-2012 18.30
It had rained all day, but 1167 hardy fans still made it out to
Estadio da Luz Buchholz.
Ivo Back was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Christophe Ruckstuhl and
Lucian Chircã.
A 4-3-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Buchholz.
They fielded: Yılmaz - Nasternak, Alde, Daniel, Kushmero - Lepur, Pingel, Lienen - Rohr, Goldfuß, Leipzig.
Militici decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
Lineup: Shields - Romańczukiewicz, Barbar, 京廷 (Jingting) - Apelström, Custers, Celada, Ihamuotila, Rajtulec - Borrisser, Salatelli.
Buchholz used their skill at pressing to cut off the attack angles of their opponents all over the field.
Pressing was the tactic of the day for Militici.
Militici's
J. Borrisser could have put the guests one up after 21 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but
M. Yılmaz was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose.
25 minutes into the game, Buchholz seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to
solid.
After 35 minutes, Militici put themselves up 0 - 1, as
T. Rajtulec finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot.
39 minutes in, Buchholz appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
weak.
The pressing tactics used by Militici were successful as the ball remained close to the half way line at all times.
With 41 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
A. Salatelli of Militici to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Militici lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
Some fine movement on the left led to a Militici goal after 43 minutes, making it 0 - 3.
J. Borrisser was noted down as the scorer.
Halftime score was 0 - 3.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Militici, with 77 percent of the ball.
The Buchholz players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a
passable organisation when the game started again.
Militici's
A. Salatelli made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 52 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line.
O. Barbar received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 63 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score.
A. Salatelli received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 64 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Militici fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early.
Militici pressed their opponents, causing the game to be a bit of a stalemate at times.
After 77 minutes, Militici's
A. Salatelli burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 5.
This third goal completed a hattrick for
A. Salatelli.
温. 京廷 (Jingting) of Militici took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 79 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 6.
Militici claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 74 percent.
A. Goldfuß performed admirably for Buchholz.
C. Alde was a disappointment, however.
Most important Militici player was
J. Custers.
S. Shields on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 0 - 6.
