Hochstetter after a corner. 68 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Fußball was S. Häggerberg. Grasnarbe tied it all up, 74 minutes in, after a spectacular goal by T. Hochstetter, who miraculously broke through the home side's central defence, making it 1 - 1. Making his way up the middle 77 minutes into the match, R. Piron almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert J. Weidl blocked it to keep the score level. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, J. Ristl got himself booked. The manager of Grasnarbe was not happy. Many thought S. Häggerberg ought to have been awarded a penalty 82 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around J. Weidl after a determined run through the middle. The cannonball from 35 metres by R. Naczas of Fußball was an impressive sight, but didn't make it into the net. Under heavy pressure after 84 minutes, the inexperienced Fußball struggled to maintain their level of play. M. Morsch-Zlatkovic would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. J. Layer entered the game for Grasnarbe as the match clock showed 85 minutes. 89 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Fußball substitution. J. Kivikko came on for P. Hernández. E. Rusconi was handed the Fußball captain's armband. Fußball claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.

Still tied after 90 minutes, the match continued into extra time. The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that Fußball had solid organisation. Always quick and a menace to his opponents, D. Gottarelli was very close to getting through after 95 minutes, but he could only put the ball into the keeper's arms. Grasnarbe took the lead 102 minutes into the game, making the score 1 - 2 after some elegant movement down the middle. G. Mazalevskis was the scorer. With that Grasnarbe had won the game in extra time. Fußball's best player was T. Charisopoulos. However, J. Kivikko made a disastrous appearance. A. Granados performed admirably for Grasnarbe. J.
