Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 64132 at City Horse Park today. Andriy Shukatka was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Eliáš Fürst and Santeri Leinonen. Making his way up the middle 8 minutes into the match, G. Bosânceanu almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert T. Duclos blocked it to keep the score level. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 27 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from G. Bosânceanu, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. schilte-siebni tied it all up, 33 minutes in, after a spectacular goal by A. Bartolomeo, who miraculously broke through the home side's central defence, making it 1 - 1. Ypswitch's S. Vozzi was shown a yellow card after 36 minutes for slicing down an opponent. D. Dalnoki hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving schilte-siebni's F. Plante an easy chance to knock it in for 1 - 2. E. Minnema's speed was almost enough to give schilte-siebni a goal after 40 minutes, but his nice pass to P. Happ was not taken care of properly. Some fine movement on the left led to a schilte-siebni goal after 41 minutes, making it 1 - 3. P. Happ was noted down as the scorer. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 3. schilte-siebni had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

With 69 minutes played, schilte-siebni put themselves up 1 - 4 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was M. Parrino. The crowd groaned when M. Rupenian, having maneuvered his way down the right, fired the ball just wide and missed a great opportunity to reduce the deficit for Ypswitch. T. Duclos left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 74 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. T. Biedermann was the replacement. The schilte-siebni players could smell victory in the air. M. Parrino wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for K. Thorne after 78 minutes. C. Dai Prá received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 84 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 5. The schilte-siebni fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. At this point, it was obvious that the players of schilte-siebni lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. schilte-siebni claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

E. Souvan performed admirably for Ypswitch. S. Vozzi turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important schilte-siebni player was P. Happ. On the other hand, T. Biedermann's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 5.
